THE PROPERTY

In July 2016 we purchase the Twentieth Century Club, a former Social Club and Night Club on the corner of Sheep Street and Lady's Lane in Northampton town centre.
This building is just under 12,000 sq ft, spread over two floors. The goal in owning this building is to create a vibrant Community Hub in the heart of Northampton, that will be a tool in helping us live out our vision to bring life to city and everyone we meet.

Throughout the week this building acts as a base for our charity Re:store Northampton, where we continue to reach some of Northampton's most vulnerable people. Here we run our twice weekly drop-in, distribute food to those in need, run our Re:store COOK cookery course and come alongside people through our various training and mentoring programmes.

PHASE 1
With a modest budget we have started refurbishment,  this is what we've called Phase 1. The goal in Phase 1 is to see the upper floor made safe and fit for purpose,  which included making the building secure and safe and bringing all the electrics and plumbing up to modern standards. We've also turned the old manager flat in to our office base and moved the Food Bank into the building. We've also been able to install a new kitchen and create space for a third meeting room that will soon serve as our under 5's area both on a Sunday and during the week for families in the community.
